Raina
Female, Pale Elf Paladin

[Must add dual-wielding when the time is right.]

Raina’s beginnings can be found in the fertile savannas of the Ixamitl Plains. There she was born and raised, living her early life with her immigrant parents, housed beside the other residents in a small Orlan hamlet. Though they were the only Pale Elves there, her family contributed modestly to the community and gained a respect that the Orlans extended to Raina. Situated just beyond the Orlan villages that bordered or mixed with human civilization, Raina didn’t grow up seeing the worst of racial tensions between Orlans and humans, but saw enough from the odd circumstance to be wary of the humans who would treat her Orlan friends in poor manners. Even though her parents came from The White that Wends, it was mostly the culture of the Ixamitl Plains that made an impression on Raina during her youth, that she would carry on with in her days to come.

She follows the oldest paladin order in the world, the Darcozzi Paladini, who mainly serve as protectors and ambassadors of the immense Darcozzi family. Not obligated to serve a particular deity within the order, she freely chooses to worship more than one while favoring those who are passionate and clever—reflecting her own heart and mind. As a result the divine powers the gods have bestowed upon her are as mixed as her faith, without focus on any one special ability in combat; but this has always suited her keen understanding of how to adapt to a general spectrum of situations instead of committing to a narrow idea of what is best.
