Gillian Cooke, a UK Bobsledder, was preparing for her run when the suit she was wearing split open and bared her big, beautiful ass. Thankfully it's received quite a lot of media attention which means there's a lot of videos of the action on youtube and other places. It's hard to find a good quality version of it but here's one I found:

I agree. There was actually development towards this in the Winter Olympics. I noticed female speedskaters like Catriona Le May Doan were wearing semi-transparent speedskating suits for a while, but unfortunately this was stopped by those in charge.
